Yesterday and today I taught my first two classes in a Daycare Centre where I work for folk with Alzheimer’s/ Dementia / Parkinsonsc and stroke recovery. Words can’t quite describe how I am feeling, the clients loved it as I gave them permission to move their bodies way and to experience The Joy of Movement
"Well it’s been three years since I took my white belt with Dorit. I never thought I would teach for so many reasons, silly fears of not getting it right, folk not liking it, the list is endless. I simply want to encourage anyone out there who is doubting themselves or thinks they are not good enough please believe me that you can do all things through Nia, feel the fear and “step in” Nia does the rest, the past two days I have experienced this. I cried at the end of the first class when I looked around me and saw clients moving whom don’t normally engage, blessings and love to you all, Liz"
